People all over the world decide to live a lifestyle that involves abstaining from eating any animal products. These people can choose a vegetarian diet that fulfills their body’s nutritional requirements and lets them live a long and healthy life. Why do vegetarians say they chose to live a meat-free life?

People who choose to be vegetarian usually cite the numerous health benefits of the diet as the reason for their choice. Commercially-raised livestock are pumped full of hormones and drugs, and outbreaks of e-coli contamination and mad cow disease happen all the time. Arriving at an ideal weight for a child can be complicated sometimes. Adults use the Body Mass Index to measure their ideal weight. But for children, this is not the case. Their ideal weight are calculated on length for age and weight for age percentile charts.
